About School
Founded in 2010 by Sarah Gerome, our home-based preschool is dedicated to enriching children's development through art, play, nature and the freedom to explore. We believe in hands-on learning, with a curriculum deeply connected to the natural world. Our outdoor space, lovingly cultivated over the years, provides a unique environment where children can engage with nature through play. By supporting creativity and independence, we create a nurturing space where every child can grow and thrive.

Our curriculum is designed to advance a love for learning, encourage curiosity and present the opportunity to exercise self expression and discover their inner voice in a safe and natural environment. A Day As A Hillside Kid
Each morning, children enter a space designed just for them. The day begins with a variety of activities to choose from, empowering them to make decisions and fostering a strong sense of self. Activities include art, free play and outdoor exploration among others.
Group activities like music, dance, and yoga develop a feeling of community and connection. Together, we eat, sing and learn, while nurturing each child’s unique potential to thrive as an individual.
